Audrey Hepburn’s style is one of the most admired in the world. She managed to look timeless, with comfort and elegance, her grace and signature of sophistication has defined her as a fashion icon and influenced many of the European fashion houses both past and present.
Audrey Hepburn’s style was always effortless and her movements were always delivered with gracefulness, no doubt helped by her many years of ballet, Roy Hudd tells the story of a very young Audrey Hepburn appearing in the chorus line in ‘High Button Shoes” at the London Hippodrome. The show opened on December 22 1948, for a 291-performance run. Audrey was one of thousand who tried out for the chorus line and to her amazement one of the ten, who got the job. She was paid eight pounds and ten shillings a week, but even at a young age the other chorus girls were envious of her style, this cute story could only be told by the master himself Roy Hudd, his knowledge and tales of some of the greatest artist is always captivating.
